Even though the factory Ford shop manuals are really best, sometimes a more simple repair manual is easier to deal with. Both Haynes and Chilton are well known for publishing aftermarket repair manuals for just about anything on wheels. Depending on the publication year these manuals are either early Bronco specific or may also cover Ford trucks of the same year range.

The Chilton’s Bronco manual has been out of print for several years, so eBay is a good place to pick one up.

The Haynes Bronco manual is still in print, although older copies sometimes cover certain procedures in more detail.
